Principal of operation
End of life LI batteries panels with reduced power are discharged fully (in case automotive batteries), small batteries are sent directly for recycling.
After discharging the batteries fully, the batteries are dismantled the covers, BMS, wires, etc all components are separated and sent for further disposal. The batteries are crushed/grinded and metals and black mass is separated. Black mass is the materials containing electrodes, catalyst, membrane etc.
